Superschool’s Congress of Half-Knowledge

SONY DSCThe congress of half-knowledge is an open panel discussion on topics of general knowledge. (e.g.: How does the brain work? How does a nuclear power station work?) Anyone without specific knowledge on the topic can participate. The form of the discussion is a talkshow. In the course of the discussion answers are found and declared as appropriate, just liked expert answers. The audience, sitting next door, only sees an edited live version, which is recorded and cut real time.

The show intends to declare knowledge as an agreement of people, at the same time to ridicule common media practice.

In cooperation with Mieke Ulfig and Rebecca Riedel as Superschool.
13 times the congress has met with various guests. It has been performed both in public (Kunsthalle Hamburg, Volksbühne am Rosa-Luxenburg Platz, Berlin – ‘Hier entsteht…’) and within other contexts (Maxim Gorki Theater, Berlin, Filmmuseum Berlin a. m.) It has been broadcasted via OKB (Open Channel, Berlin) and is partly integrated into fluter.de- the internet-youth-magazine founded by the Federal Agency for Civic Education. (Bundeszentrale für politische Bildung).
